Triceratops

Triceratops means three-horned face. The Triceratop's bones have been found in the U.S.A. and in Canada. This dinosaur looks like a mean rhinoceros with three horns. It was almost as big as my house. The Triceratops was a plant-eater. It lived in herds. They protected their children by surrounding them in a circle with their horns sticking out. Nobody knows what a real Triceratops looks like. All we have are their bones. Nobody knows what their skin looked like. My Triceratops is purple with green, red, and blue spots. It also has red eyes.

I really liked learning about the Triceratops. It was a great dinosaur.
