About Triceratops

Triceratops had three sharp horns on its head. Its head was six feet long. Its entire body weighed several thousand pounds.

Triceratops ate only plants. Their teeth easily chewed the leaves.

Triceratops were protected by their bone and horns. A boney frill was at the back of its head. They lived in herds.

Triceratops lived in the Cretaceaus period, more than sixty-five million years ago.

I like this dinosaur because it was not as big as Tyranosaurus Rex.
