MISSION
The
mission of Princeton Elementary School is to provide a positive academic
climate for all students, while continuing to emphasize excellence in a
academic performance, attendance and promotion.
STUDENT
POPULATION
Princeton
Elementary School is home to a rich diverse population of 335 students,
ranging from Pre K-6 and including two CRI classes.
ACADEMIC
EXCELLENCE
During
school years 96-97 and 97-98, Princeton Elementary was recognized by
Governor Glendening and the Maryland State Department of Education for
making significant progress on the Maryland School Performance Assessment
Program. A computer network and Internet connected lab to help enhance and
supplement classroom instruction has been installed.
SCHOOL
ENVIRONMENT
Princeton
Elementary School is a neighborhood school consisting of students from
ESOL boundaries, and the surrounding community, which provides a
strong multicultural foundation. The staff and the administration works to
provide a strong, rigorous educational program, which emphasizes high
expectations and academic achievement for all students.
A community of caring atmosphere promotes collaboration between all
stakeholders, parents, students, staff, volunteers, and business partners.
All of us working together to ensure that all decisions are made in the
best interest of children.
