Orderly is the word for October

This month the students at Robert Frost are learning about being orderly.  A large part of being orderly is following the rules in our school.  An orderly student follows directions inside and outside of the classroom, knows how to line up and walk in the hallway quietly, and works as part of a team with the other students in the school.

Another part of being orderly includes being organized.  Students’ who are organized keep their book-bags and desks clean, write down their homework everyday, complete their homework on time, and are always prepared with all of their materials.

*Over the next month please work with your children to create a routine for finishing their homework and studying for tests.  If they follow a routine it will become a habit for them to take all the steps necessary to become organized.  An organized student has great potential for success in school! *
