SUMMER OFFICE HOURS The
summer work schedule begins the week of June 18th and ends the week of
August 6th. The week of July 2nd-5th is a three-day workweek based on
the July 4th holiday on Wednesday. During this time period, schools and
offices are open Monday through Thursday, with extended work hours.

New Student Registration began
Monday April 16, 2012, for future kindergarten and Pre-K students in the
Main Office at Rockledge. This is for the
2012-2013 school year. Students must be 4 years old before Sept. 1, 2012, to
enter Pre-K and 5 years old before Sept. 1, 2012, to enter kindergarten. In
addition to filling out a registration packet, please also bring your
child’s birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of residency.
Examples of proof are deed, lease, settlement papers, current monthly
mortgage statement, or this year’s property tax assessment. Pre-K students
will also need to show proof of income by way of your tax return or 2
current pay stubs for all working families in the household. Details on
income requirements and all other registration questions can be obtained by
calling Rockledge at 301-805-2720 or
the county website at www.pgcps.org.
Prince George's
County Public Schools (PGCPS) has a new alert system to provide PGCPS
staff, parents and community members with more options for updates and
information. Users can sigh up for emergency alerts, newsletters, and
information about upcoming events by email or text message. Subscription
options may be changed at any time. To sign up, visit

CHILD'S GRADES THROUGH THE SCHOOLMAX FAMILY PORTAL!
Prince George’s County School’s has implemented a great way to keep track of
your child’s information called the Family Portal which is a part of
SchoolMax. You are able to view your child’s attendance record, grades,
assignments, discipline, and schedule. This can all be accessed from your
home/office computer, 24/7. If you were not
able to pick up your Family Access Key, please stop by the Main Office at
Rockledge during normal school hours.
