School Uniforms We ask that students dress appropriately in the school uniform each day. We strongly discourage extraneous articles of clothing or jewelry. There is a large body of research suggesting that school uniforms dampen peer pressure and foster a positive academic climate. Our uniform policy is as follows: Girls Head Start - Grade 2 Black V-Split jumpers with yellow Peter Pan collar blouse (long or short sleeve) Black skort/walking shorts with yellow Polo style shirts (long or short sleeve) or Peter Pan yellow blouse (long or short sleeve) Black tights, knee or ankle socks Black or Red cardigan sweaters Solid black dress shoes or black tennis shoes (no heels) Red crisscrossed tie (to be worn under Peter Pan collar blouse Girls Grades 3 - 6 Black skirt with yellow Peter Pan collared blouse (long or short sleeve) or yellow Polo style shirt (long or short sleeve) Black skort/walking shorts with yellow Polo style shirt (long or short sleeve) or yellow Peter Pan collared blouse (long or short sleeve) Black tights, knee or ankle socks Black or red cardigan sweater Solid black dress shoes or black tennis shoes (no high heals) Red crisscrossed tie GIRLS CAN WEAR BLACK UNIFORM PANTS WITH A YELLOW SHIRT DURING THE WINTER SEASON. Jeans worn under the skirt are not acceptable. Boys Head Start - Grade 6 Yellow Polo/golf shirt (long or short sleeve); shirt must not be oversized; white t-shirt or undershirt underneath (no logo, and must be tucked in at all times; cannot be visible beyond the sleeve length of the shirt) Black uniform pants Black uniform walking shorts Black or red cardigan or V-Neck sweater (no sweatshirts) Black socks Plain black belt black and buckled at the waist at all times Red clip-on tie
