The Center was recognized by the Maryland State Department of Education as a PRIDE Honoree.  PRIDE is a statewide initiative to honor students, faculty, parents, schools, and community members for their accomplishments in Maryland Public Schools.

Please access www.maeoe.org for current information on becoming a Green School.

Congratulations!!

Congratulations to Berwyn Heights Elementary on achieving Green School status!  A Maryland Green School is one that models the best in environmental practices, infuses environmental issues into every day curriculum and involves students in community service projects relating to improving the environment.
