Athletic forms are now ready! All Students must possess and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA to participate in Maryland State Interscholastic Athletics. Also remember all students are required to have a signed parent permission slip and signed medical physical evaluation form to be completed by a Licenced Physician before they may participate in any school sponsored interscholastic athletic activity.

Run Away with 3A and 4A
State Track & Field titles

Largo Head Track & Field coach Daryl Hamilton didn't get any super performances or individual titles from any one athlete, but, did get a teams worth of point finishing 2nd through 6th in several events from a young talented squad to out pace runner up Mount Hebron from Howard Co. by 25 points 79 to 54, defending champion Western from Baltimore City finished third with 46. The win was the Lady Lions 6th State Track & Field title.

Eleanor Roosevelt added their schools 14th Girls State track & field title with record breaking performances turned in by 4 time All-Met standout Tekeica Jamison. The victory gave Eleanor Roosevelt the most State titles in the county (56) surpassing Central high's (54) state championships. The Raiders also broke the county record for most state tites in one school year with six, an outstanding accomplishment breaking Central High's 1984 record of five championships in one school year.

Eleanor Roosevelt Baseball team complete's championship season

The Raiders Baseball team behind the arm of their ace, pitcher Sean Swetnam, won their first ever Maryland State baseball Championship. The 8 - 1 victory came Friday afternoon against previously undefeated Sherwood High from Montgomery County. Swetnam pitched a 4 hit 8 strikeout gem of a game, holding the high powered bats of the warriors scoreless until the third inning. With score tied at 1 - 1 Roosevelt went on a 7 run barage in the bottom of the sixth inning highlighted by Senior Chis McCaslin's 2 run double to the right gap to put the Raiders up 3 - 1. Roosevelt would add 4 more runs on clutch hitting and two sherwood errors to build the insurmountable lead.

Eleanor Roosevelt's, Stokes wins
first State title as a freshman

Roosevelt Freshman Katelyn Stokes goes three sets and wins the Girls Individual State Tennis championship making her the first freshman to win the title since Marianne Barker of Glenelg accomplished the feat in 2001.

Eleanor Roosevelt dominated the 2007 County Track & Field Championships.
Led by All-Met standouts Tekecia Jameson and Tasha Stanley the Lady Raiders
won all eight individual running events to top Largo by seven points.

Roosevelt Boys won 4 of 8 individual running events and all four relays to beat
second place C.H. Flowers by 68 points.
