I am Ms. Darlington, your school-based Parent Liaison.
My role as Parent Liaison is to help facilitate communication between you and the school. I will also be keeping you informed of the events at Scotchtown Hills Elementary and within the local community. I would like to encourage you to continue your parental involvement in your child’s education. If you would like to volunteer in your child's class or help within the school in any way, please let me know.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child, please feel free to contact me at (301) 497-3994. If you need to set up a meeting with your child's teacher or you want to know what’s being worked on in the classroom, let me know. I will work with you in every possible way so the outcome will be a success for everyone.

Youth
now get free access to Community Centers
Prince George's County kids ages 6-17 get FREE access to all M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation community centers and drop-in programs with the new Youth ID Card.
With the new ID card, all young people living in the county can participate in parks and recreation programs, including Xtreme Pre-Teens (ages 10-12) and Xtreme Teens (ages 13-17) activities, as well as other recreational, educational and cultural programs offered in a safe, fun environment. If you're between the ages of 13 and 17, you even get free weight room access at community centers.

Los jóvenes pueden obtener acceso gratis a los centros comunitarios
Los jóvenes del condado de Prince George entre las edades de 6-17 años pueden tener acceso gratis a todos los parques y centros recreativos del M-NCPPC Departamento de Parques y Recreación con una nueva identificación (Youth ID Card).
