The Suitland High School
Student Government is designed to meet
the needs of the school by providing
leadership with the student body, by
providing a vehicle for expression of
student concerns, serving as a liaison
between students, administration,
faculty and staff, and by promoting
unity with the school.

The Poms Squad is a dance squad
that promotes school spirit and

Selection for membership is by a
Faculty Council and is based on
outstanding scholarship (3.5
GPA), character, leadership, and

stepping an opportunity to learn
and develop an understanding of the
technique known as stepping.
Students will develop coordination,
