| The mission of the
English Department at Suitland Senior
High School is to provide students with
instruction that helps them develop the
oral, reading, and writing skills
necessary to become proficient
communicators. In addition, the English
Department is dedicated to helping
students become critical thinkers and to
develop life long reading skills and
habits. In order to accomplish these
goals, instruction is aligned with the
objectives of the Voluntary State
Curriculum. |
