What
is this resource? PGCPS currently subscribes to a
standards-based digital video-on-demand service managed
by United Learning. Use this resource to incorporate video
clips into your curriculum, including multimedia presentations
and student learning environments, project and inquiry
based learning.
United
Streaming includes:
- Over 22,000 K-12 video/video
content clips and 2,200 full video titles for streaming
and downloading.
- Image library with over 1,700
images.
- Hardware neutral, no special
software or hardware needed, and options for customization
and local control.
- Quiz creator.
- Calendar of important dates
in history linked to video clips.
- Playlist(s) to bookmark video
clips for later use.
- Teacher's guides and blackline
masters/worksheets.
How
can I get access? All teachers who wish to have an
United Streaming account must have a PGCPS e-mail address.
Email Accounts are provided free of charge to all PGCPS
employees. To register or update your PGCPS email account
go to the Email Information
Page (internal access only.)
To
get a United Streaming user login and password email Renee
Henderson. Type
the name into the "To" box using PGCPS Outlook
or WebMail and the email will be sent to that person.
