Code of Conduct
Gross Misconduct refers to willful to malicious acts
and are expellable offenses
- Arson
- False Alarms
- Assault with serious injury
- Fireworks or Explosives
- Inciting others to violence
- Physical attack on any Prince George’s
County System Employee
- Possession or use of weapons or instruments used
as such
- Shakedown and/or Strong Arm
- Possession, use or distribution of alcohol,
controlled dangerous substances, controlled or drug paraphernalia,
imitation controlled
substances,
other intoxicants
- Vandalism and/or destruction of property-above
$500
- Group fighting which has been planned, causes material disruption
to the school day or results in significant injury
- Acts
of Gross Misconduct at Other Schools
The following misconduct is considered suspension offenses
but may be expellable also.
- Repeated Disruptive Conduct
- Bullying
- Contaminating food
- Disrespect
- Hazing
- Inciting Others to violence or disruption
- Cheating
- Continued Class Disruption
- Sexual Harassment
- Threat to a PGCPS Employee
- Unauthorized possession, use, or distribution
of over-the-counter medication
- False Report
- Fighting
- Forgery
- Gambling
- Insubordination
- Trespassing
- Reckless Endangerment
