Quarterly Benchmark Assessments
Quarterly
Benchmark Assessments are designed to measure the degree to which students have
learned the skills and/or content specified by the objectives of the county
curriculum. These assessments in reading and mathematics, grades 3 through 8,
provide data from which teachers can make instructional adjustments for
individual students and classroom instructional management. The Quarterly
Benchmark Assessments are administered to all students in grades 3-8 as well as
students that are taking Algebra I, Biology, English 2 and LSN Government.
The Benchmarks are aligned with the countywide curriculum frameworks and
Voluntary State Curriculum. GRADE
