Public School Choice

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Public School Choice is a critical component of No Child Left Behind (NCLB). The program offers students that are enrolled in Title 1 schools in need of improvement an opportunity to attend another school.
Title 1 is required to make choices available to all students in qualifying schools.
Students who are enrolled in Title 1 schools are eligible to transfer to another school if their school has been identified as in: (1) school improvement; (2) corrective action: or (3) restructuring.
