7th grader Noah Johnson is the winner of the 64th Annual Prince George's County Science Fair. He won 1st place in the Computer Science Jr. Division for his project "Punching Power." In addition, he was the best presenter for the Computer Science Division.
Stephen Ware and Jameeka Wiggins are Mr. and Miss Walker Mill. Dr. Fax and her team created a night to remember. Walker Mill's first-ever pageant was an outstanding event that truly celebrated Panther PRIDE.
Walker Mill's Robotics Club under the leadership of math teacher Mr. Vermerris received kudos from a major news network. See a video clip here.
Here is more good news. Walker Mill's TAG program earned the EGATE Award for Excellence in the Talented and Gifted Program. Walker Mill's AVID program became nationally certified.
