Delegate, Mrs. Long, advocated healthy living during a live show on Walker Mill TV. Students in classrooms participated in physical exercises and called in health-related  questions to Mrs. Long in the media center. The event was sponsored by the PTSA, Mrs. Long, and Mrs. Croom.

WMMS PTSA MISSION:

The Walker Mill Middle School PTSA will collaborate with the administration, teachers, and staff to help create a safe, caring, and learning environment at Walker Mill.

WMMS PARENT HANDBOOK (2010-2011)

WMMS PTSA OBJECTIVES:

  • Promote constructive parental involvement with the school.

  • Facilitate effective communication of concern and support throughout the school.

  • Help provide community-building and extra-curricular activities for students and their families.

WMMS PTSA MEMBERSHIP DUES:

Membership Dues are $15 for Parents and Teachers and $5 for Students. We meet every second Tuesday of each month during the school year in the Library Media Center. When the location of the meeting changes, flyers will be sent home in time to inform parents of the new location.
