As a graduate of Friendly High School, May Naldo became a Prince George’s County English teacher with the belief that, “our students have great potential, and I want to take part in their educational developmental.”  Ms. Naldo received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Teaching at Notre Dame of Maryland University.  Prior to becoming a teacher, she worked for The Posse Foundation in Washington, D.C., which recruits, selects and trains outstanding young leaders from urban public high schools and sends them in groups of ten (posses) to top tier colleges and universities across the nation.  At The Posse Foundation, Ms. Naldo mentored high school and college students. She facilitated dialogue on academic excellence, cross-cultural communication, leadership, and team building.  Aside from work, Ms. Naldo is a leader in her church community as a Youth minister.  She is thrilled to have the opportunity to work firsthand with youth and looks forward to seeing the growth in both the students and herself through the experiences ahead.
