  • Volunteer and Chaperone Information

The safety of our students and staff is a top priority at John H. Bayne Elementary School. Although we enjoy volunteers partaking in our school activities and events, due to the recent policy change, all volunteers and chaperones MUST get a fingerprint clearance at the Prince George's County Sasscer Administration Building. Once your fingerprints have been taken, you must bring the yellow portion of the clearance to the main office at least fourteen (14) days prior to the field trip or the day that you plan to volunteer.

The fee for a Fingerprint Background Check is $56.57. Acceptable payments for fingerprinting services include: cash, money order, Debit/Visa/MasterCard. If your child receives free or reduced lunch, the fee can be waived. In order for your fee to be waived, you must present your Food and Nutrition CEP letter at the time of your fingerprinting services. ALL John H. Bayne families should receive a Food and Nutrition CEP letter. If you have misplaced your letter, you may obtain a copy at the Food and Nutrition Office Building. Please find contact information for both Fingerprinting Services as well as Food and Nutrition below:
