• On Wednesday, May 6, State Superintendent of Education Dr. Karen Salmon announced that all Maryland public schools will be closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. A letter from CEO Dr. Monica Goldson is forthcoming with more information.

    Mission Statement:

    The McKinney Vento Program provides support to ensure that children and youth experiencing homelessness have equal access to the same free, appropriate, public education provided to other Prince George’s County Public School children, with the opportunity to meet the same challenging student performance standards.  Our work focuses on eliminating barriers to student enrollment and school attendance and increasing school stability and academic success of students experiencing homelessness.
