• On Wednesday, March 25, State Superintendent of Education Dr. Karen Salmon announced that all Maryland public schools will remain closed through Friday, April 24.
    Picking up meals, digital devices and instructional materials for distance learning is permitted under Gov. Hogan's stay-at-home order (Sect IIb(iv)).

    The Aerospace Engineering & Aviation Technology @ Duval High School is a rigorous, four-year program that provides highly specialized college preparatory courses. The program offers an innovative project-based curriculum and real-world application of math, science and engineering. Students develop essential 21st century skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, communication and collaboration needed to be successful in today’s world.

    Students in the Aerospace Engineering and Aviation Technology Program gain innovative problem-solving skills and a real-world application of math, science, and engineering. You will have the unique opportunity to build rockets, planes, and robots. Advanced software will allow you to create models and mock airfields. You will even be able to act as pilot while navigating a flight simulator or an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle! 

    Whichever pathway that is chosen, in AEAT,  the program will challenge your desire to explore, design, and innovate as you look up, up, and away into your future.
