Great Grads: Destiny Allen, Friendly High School

Behavioral issues, family problems and trying to fit in meant a rocky start to high school for Friendly High School senior Destiny Allen. It wasn’t until her grades hit rock bottom during tenth grade that she realized she had to make a change.

Today, Destiny is preparing to graduate as a 4.0 student, president of her school’s newspaper and volunteer with Friendly High’s CRI program for special education students. She will continue her education at Clark Atlanta University on a band scholarship to study education.
