    Upcoming Immunization Clinics

Prince George’s County Public Schools is pleased to announce that we will be offering free immunization clinics at multiple school sites in October to assist families in meeting immunization requirements. These services are offered in collaboration with the Prince George’s County Health Department and the Maryland Partnership for Prevention. Site locations will be announced and online registration will begin September 28, 2020.

Due to COVID-19 the following must occur to ensure that we comply with CDC guidance:

    • Immunizations will be offered by appointment only

    • Social distancing will be ensured

    • Everyone must wear masks

    • Temperatures will be taken for parent/guardian and student

    • Only one parent will be allowed to enter with one student (if you have more than one child, you will need to make a separate appointment for each child)

If you have made an appointment and your child has become ill or presents with a temperature of 100.4 or greater, your appointment will need to be rescheduled.

Families who have health insurance should make an appointment with their child’s pediatrician to get the required shots on or before September 21, 2020.

The online registration process, dates and times for immunization clinics is forthcoming.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact your child’s school or the Office of School Health at 301-749-4722 on Mondays and Wednesdays or by email at health.services@pgcps.org.
