About Mychael Dickerson
Mychael Dickerson became Chief of Staff in Prince George’s County Public Schools in May 2021. He previously served as Chief of Staff and Chief Communications Officer in Baltimore County Public Schools. Mr. Dickerson also served as Executive Director of Communications, Community Outreach, and Public Policy for Henrico County Public Schools in Virginia. Prior to that, he was a news anchor and reporter for WWBT/NBC-12 in Richmond, Virginia. In 2015, Mr. Dickerson received the prestigious National School Public Relations Association and AASA award for Leadership Through Communication. He donated the $10,000 prize money to four schools to help bolster their broadcast communications programs.
