This full year course offers students instruction in the fundamentals of music theory including basic skills in notation, keyboard, aural dictation, sight singing, simple melodic construction, harmony and computer aided composition. Topics include basic notation key signatures, tetra chords, scales, intervals, acoustics, and expression marks, triads, and melodic writing. Specific course content conforms to any existing state standards.
