Dana Doggett’s Bio:
Dr. Dana Doggett was born and raised in Mount Vernon, New York. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997, Master’s Degree from the University of Bridgeport (Connecticut) in 1998, a Professional Diploma from Mercy College (New York) in 2002, and a Doctoral Degree from Howard University in 2017.Dr. Doggett used basketball as a tool to achieve his educational goals.
Dr. Dana Doggett is beginning his 19th year as an educator. He was an elementary school teacher for three years and an Assistant Principal for sixteen years, thirteen years were served in Prince George’s County Public Schools (Morningside Elementary School and Andrew Jackson Academy). In June 2017, Dr. Doggett was appointed Principal of Concord Elementary School.
Dr. Doggett loves to read and enjoys listening to Hip-Hop Music. He believes that Hip-Hop can be used as a learning tool to improve student achievement. Dr. Doggett believes that education is a powerful weapon that can change one’s life as well as impact the world.
