Check out these 5 tips to ensure your ParentVUE account is up to date, and working for you:

1. Verify your contact information and preferred language

Make sure your phone number and email address are current so you receive school updates and emergency alerts without delay. While you're there, check that your preferred language is selected so you receive information in the language that works best for your family.

2. Opt in to text alerts

From weather-related closures to safety updates, text messages are one of the fastest ways PGCPS communicates with families. Please update your preferences to get critical information straight to your phone.

3. Update your emergency contacts

Check that all names, phone numbers, and relationships are accurate — especially for those who may be called in case of an emergency.

4. Add your child’s country of birth

PGCPS is working to improve the accuracy of student records, and one key piece of missing information for many students is country of birth — a field that wasn’t always completed in the previous system.
