Chillum Elementary School strives to create a safe environment, which fosters the development of responsible and caring students who are critical thinkers.  It is the vision of the school to prepare students academically for college and careers by striving for excellence in education.

School Philosophy

Chillum Elementary School recognizes the impact of the early years of a student’s learning as the foundation to building their educational experience and effective development towards their success in school and in life. By fostering a wholesome learning environment, we work to develop necessary skills for our students to be successful emotionally, socially, and intellectually from as early as Prekindergarten. We work towards building a culture of achievement and acceptance of diversity by cultivating and nurturing the connection between our staff, families, and community partners.
