College Rep Visit Schedule

There will be college representatives visiting Gwynn Park High School during the school year.

College Application Information

Students should contact their designated counselor for more information about college visits and application assistance.

University of Maryland Eastern Shore

Apply at www.umes.edu/admissions. The application is free through October 31st on the website using discount code. They are also partnered with The Common Application or the Common Black College Application.

Bowie State University

Students MUST apply on-line at www.bowiestate.edu/apply. Students need an official high school transcript, official SAT or ACT scores, and application confirmation page, to be evaluated by an Admissions Representative.

Regular Admission Criteria:

Minimum GPA 2.3/ Average GPA 2.9; Minimum SAT 850 (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math scores only); ACT Minimum composite of 17

Scholarship Consideration: Cumulative GPA 2.8; Minimum SAT score of 900 (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math scores only); Minimum ACT composite of 19
