Principal's Corner

Paint Branch ES Family,

My name is Emmett Hendershot. I am excited to be returning to Paint Branch ES as your Principal. I have served the PGCPS community for the past 26 years. I spent the first 15 years as a Teacher & Assistant Principal at Carrollton Elementary school in New Carrollton. I then served as the Principal, here at PBES, from 2012-2017. In 2017 I was asked to assume the role of Principal at Charles Carroll Middle School in New Carrollton. I spent the past 6 years at CCMS as Principal.

My journey has now returned me to where my career as a Principal began, PBES!! I Look forward to partnering with all staff, parents, students, and community members to ensure the continued success of Paint Branch.
