"You're off to great places! Today is your Day! Your mountain is waiting, So...Get on your way!" ~Dr. Seuss

Twenty of our Rosa Parks students were able to attend the dedication ceremoney for the Rosa Parks statue in the Hall of Statues at the United Stated Capital on February 27, 2013. President Obama and congressional leaders paid tribute Mrs. Parks, whose act of defiance and work in the civil rights movement helped spur desegregation across the country and the passage of the Voting Rights Act.
