Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members,
I hope this letter finds you all in good health and high spirits. It is with great pleasure and excitement that I send this message to you as the newly appointed Acting Principal of Thurgood Marshall Middle School. It is an honor for me to serve this wonderful community and to provide the best educational experience possible for our students.
My professional background is rooted in education, mentorship, and leadership. For the past thirty years, I have worked in public education as a leader, teacher, mentor to educators, and instructional specialist. I look forward to using these collective experiences as your new Acting Principal.
First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the warm welcome I have received since joining the Thurgood Marshall MS family. The sense of unity, dedication, and support among parents, students, staff, and community members is truly inspiring. It is this collective effort that enables us to create an environment where our students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
I would also like to acknowledge the exceptional work of our dedicated staff members who go above and beyond to create meaningful learning experiences for our students. Their passion, expertise, and commitment are truly commendable, and I am confident that, together, we can continue to provide a high-quality education that prepares our students for a bright future. I am excited to work collaboratively with each and every one of you to make a positive difference in the lives of our students. Let us strive for excellence, celebrate our achievements, and support one another every step of the way.

Espero que, al recibir esta carta, se encuentren con buena salud y excelente ánimo. Es con gran placer y entusiasmo que les envío este mensaje como la nueva directora en funciones de la Escuela Intermedia Thurgood Marshall. Es un honor para mí servir a esta maravillosa comunidad y brindar la mejor experiencia educativa posible a nuestros estudiantes.
Mi experiencia profesional se basa en la educación, la tutoría y el liderazgo. Durante los últimos treinta años, he trabajado en la educación pública como líder, maestra, mentora de educadores y especialista en instrucción. Espero usar estas experiencias colectivas como su nueva directora en funciones.
En primer lugar, quiero expresar mi gratitud por la cálida bienvenida que he recibido desde que me uní a la familia de la Escuela Intermedia Thurgood Marshall. La sensación de unidad, dedicación y apoyo entre padres, estudiantes, personal y miembros de la comunidad es verdaderamente inspiradora. Es este esfuerzo colectivo el que nos permite crear un ambiente donde nuestros estudiantes pueden prosperar académica, social y emocionalmente.
También me gustaría reconocer el trabajo excepcional de nuestro dedicado personal que va más allá para crear experiencias de aprendizaje significativas para nuestros estudiantes. Su pasión, experiencia y compromiso son verdaderamente admirables, y confío en que, juntos, podemos continuar brindando una educación de alta calidad que prepare a nuestros estudiantes para un futuro brillante.
Estoy emocionada de trabajar en colaboración con todos y cada uno de ustedes para hacer una diferencia positiva en la vida de nuestros estudiantes. Aspiremos a la excelencia, celebremos nuestros logros y apoyémonos unos a otros en cada paso del camino.
Nuevamente, extiendo mi más sincero agradecimiento a toda la comunidad de la Escuela Intermedia Thurgood Marshall por su cálida bienvenida y apoyo.
