About the TMMS PTA

The mission of Thurgood Marshall Middle School(TMMS) Parent Teachers Association (PTA) is to educate and empower members with knowledge and policies to equip our students for overall success. This mission is accomplished by parent support workshops to empower parental skills on various subjects provided by professionals speakers. Monthly meetings provides the members with valuable information and parental fact finding concerns to be addressed in a safe and professional forum without any individual retaliation.

Your annual financial membership dues provides funding to support events and materials for the students and teachers. Please support the membership drive there are multiple vendor sponsorships discount with each membership purchased. The PTA serves as an advocate for our members to create great students skills and empowers family skills to enhance the greatness in motion of our families, students and communities. This mission requires dedicated support of committed volunteers of parents, teachers, the principal, and student body. It takes a village to raise a child please join the PTA to support YOUR CHILD. INVEST IN YOUR CHILD JOIN THE PTA TODAY SUPPORT OUR STUDENTS GREATNESS IN MOTION.

TMMS PTA meeting is held the 3rd Thursday of every month @6:30 P.M. (week before on a holiday), light refreshments served.
