Student Drop-off & Pick-up Procedures

Safety of scholars, staff, and parents is paramount when coming to school and leaving school. Parents are requested to follow these safeguards that are listed below to ensure a safe environment for all. Remember, Prince George’s County Public School buses will have top priority when entering and leaving the school. Always ensure that scholars are in seat belts and the driver must not use hand held devices.

A.M. & P.M. - CAR LINE

Drivers must wait in the established line next to the right curb as you enter on Woodhaven Dr. – (In the afternoon, be sure to display your child’s name, grade, and teacher on paper. Be sure it is visible. See sample below. This sign should be displayed in the dashboard on the passenger side).

When driving to the parking lot to the right of the circle, you must stop and wait until given direction by the staff member on duty.

Drivers coming into the circle

Must drive along side of the traffic cones
Must drive to the last cone or the car stopped in front of your car
For afternoon pick-up, display paper with child’s name and grade on the dashboard on the passenger side.

When leaving the circle always check to determine that no vehicles are coming to your left before pulling into the left lane.

PREFERRED OPTION FOR DISMISSAL PICK-UP

Parents/guardians may park along the side streets and walk up to the front of the school.
Teachers will be in designated spots in the front of the building.
You will then be able to pick up your child from his/her teacher.
