Ms. Amanda's Updates: November 2025

This is the month is about “Giving Thanks”. We will be collecting canned goods and non-pershiables foods all month as we celebrate Thanksgiving at the end of the month.

Theme 2 "Our Environment"

This month our students will be learning about different environments around the world and how to take care of the environment. We will be studying about the city, the country, and the ocean. Our Unit 2 Project will be focused on classrooms creating a “Coral Reef.” Remember to check-out SEESAW to see your students active learning.

Chapel Forge ECC is actively addressing Hand, Foot, and Mouth Protocols to ensure our school environment is sanitized and cleaned daily. If your student shows symptoms of Hand, Foot, and Mouth please keep your student home, seek medical care and should remain home until symptoms are resolved.

Important Dates for Chapel Forge ECC

STUDENT BUS TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION  

Please make sure your child is waiting for the bus at least 15 minutes before  their scheduled pick-up time as well as 15 minutes after the scheduled pick  up time. The bus may arrive any time during that window. Please be patient  during the first few weeks of being assigned a bus as drivers, parents and  students adjust to a new routine.  

If there is any change to the pick-up and drop-off addresses, please contact  Ms. Laura in the front office. Ms. Laura can be reached at 301-805-2740  or laura.ricketts@pgcps.orq.
