All visitors are required to set up an appointment with the appropriate staff member prior to visiting the school. We suggest emailing but you can also call the main office to set up an appointment at (301) 808-5977.
To ensure a safe and secure building, families will not be permitted to walk the students to the classroom during his/her first week of classes. The Classroom Teacher and KES staff will support students.
In order to enter the school building, you will be required to press the buzzer and present a legal picture ID, such as your Drivers Licenses. Only individuals with appointments will be granted access.
Classroom visitations will occur by appointment only for no more than 25 minutes. Only one visitor at a time and all individuals must be on the approval form.
All volunteers and chaperones must complete a screening process through the Fingerprinting Office. This should be done well in advance of an event.
Volunteers and chaperones must also complete Safeschools Training.
