School Uniforms

Magnolia Elementary School will follow the mandatory uniform policy established by the Prince George’s County Public Schools for the current school year. Students are to be dressed appropriately in the school uniform each day and must adhere to this policy with no exceptions/substitutions. Students have several options in each category to make selections. Remember, shoes are included in the dress code.

Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Five

GIRLS

  • Navy skirts w/yellow peter pan collared blouse (long or short sleeve) or yellow Polo style shirt (long or short sleeve)
  • Navy skort w/yellow Polo style shirts (long or short sleeve) or peter pan collared blouse (long or short sleeve)
  • Navy uniform pants w/yellow Polo/golf style shirts (long or short sleeve)
  • Navy or white tights, knee or ankle socks (no slouch socks)
  • Navy cardigan sweaters (navy sweatshirts)

BOYS

  • Yellow Polo/golf style shirts (long or short sleeve). Shirts must not be oversized.
  • Navy blue uniform pants
  • Navy blue uniform shorts
  • Navy blue cardigan or v-neck sweater (navy sweatshirts)
  • Navyblack or white socks (no slouch socks)
  • Plain belts – blackbrown, or navy blue. Belts must be buckled at the waist at all times

Grade Six Only

GIRLS

  • Khaki (tan) skort
  • Navy Polo style shirts (long or short sleeve) or Navy collared blouse (long or short sleeve)
  • Solid khaki (tan) skirts or pants
  • Navywhite or nude tights, knee or ankle socks (no slouch socks)
  • Navy cardigan sweaters (sweatshirts)

BOYS

  • Navy Polo/golf style shirts (long or short sleeve). Shirts must not be oversized. length of the shirt)
  • Khaki (tan) uniform pants
  • Khaki (tan) uniform shorts
  • Navy blue cardigan or v-neck sweater (sweatshirts)

 

All students should wear solid black or brown soft-soled shoes or solid black sneakers. During the winter or cold weather students may wear solid black or brown soft-soled boots. Students must not wear colored shoes or shoes with stripes that are not within the uniform guidelines.
