PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Gateway sparks engagement and illuminates possibilities. This program’s STEM units empowers students to lead their own discovery and encourages and develops their love of learning. Through explorations of the design process, coding and robotics, flight and space, and other concepts, PLTW Gateway fuels students’ passion for discovery. As they engage in hands-on, collaborative problem solving focused on real-world challenges, students use and stretch their imaginations in brand-new ways and connect their learning to life. All the while, students step into roles spanning the career landscape – a crucial experience during this transitional time in their lives

Program Features

  • PLTW offers all teacher and student resources in English and Spanish.
  • STEM concepts taught in the course supports student learning in core subjects through hands-on application, especially in mathematics and science.
  • Students learn to communicate, negotiate, compromise and think critically through project-based, group work.
