Imagine Foundations at Leeland Public Charter School’s educational philosophy is grounded in the belief that, to help scholars thrive academically, learning must involve more than skill acquisition and standardized test scores. Our diversified, interdependent approach focuses on the individual scholar and provides an array of resources that each needs to learn, to solve problems, and to create new ideas.
Our Values can be broken down into what we term “The 3 C’s”:
Restorative Practices Program
Restorative Practice represents a positive step forward in helping all students learn to resolve disagreements, take ownership of their behavior, and engage in acts of empathy and forgiveness.
College and Career Readiness Program
College and career readiness programs at Leeland provides successful transitions between high school and college or work by helping students gain the skills, knowledge, and expertise needed for their postsecondary success.
AVID, which stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination, is a nonprofit college-readiness program designed to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in college. The program places special emphasis on growing writing, critical thinking, teamwork, organization and reading skills.
