Scholars. Patriots. Leaders. The Friendly Class of 2025 Delivers

As the first freshman class to begin high school in the wake of the global pandemic, the Friendly High School Class of 2025 is stepping forward with clarity and conviction — a graduating class shaped by resilience, anchored in service, and driven by purpose.

This year’s seniors are charting diverse and ambitious futures:

• 33% will attend four-year colleges
• 25% are enrolling in two-year or certification programs
• 8% are entering military service
• 21 students have committed to trade apprenticeships
• Nearly half (48%) will join the workforce full time

Together, the class has earned more than 280 college acceptances and $1.6 million in scholarships.

But Friendly’s legacy this year isn’t just about what’s next — it’s about how far they’ve already come. In 2024, the school’s NJROTC unit ranked first and third in the nation in the U.S. Navy’s academic exam, outperforming more than 1,500 teams nationwide. 

That leadership is reflected in the nearly 10% of Friendly graduates heading into military service — a powerful testament to the program’s ability to shape future officers, commanders and change-makers.

Highlights

• Kyliah Dozier and Jayeola Afinni were each accepted into more than 14 colleges
• Olatunbosun Jolaoso, Laila Amaya, Caleb Harris, and Eileen Kate Dela Cruz were each accepted into over 11 institutions
• Karleys Quinonez Alcivar earned the Maryland Seal of Biliteracy, recognizing proficiency in multiple languages

Student-Athlete Achievements

• Tressia Davis received a track scholarship to the University of Kentucky
• Five football student-athletes earned athletic scholarships to continue their education and athletic careers at the collegiate level

From scholarships and college acceptances to military commitments and full-time jobs, Friendly High School’s Class of 2025 is proof that perseverance and passion pay off.
