Class of 2026 Highlights - Potomac High School

The Class of 2026 at Potomac High School continues to demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, athletics, and service, earning an impressive $5,492,275 in scholarships and financial awards.

Among the class’s standout achievements, Salutatorian Keshon “Shon” Jones was named a prestigious Posse Scholar and will attend Lafayette College.

The Class of 2026 also celebrated major academic milestones, with 96% of 3DE students and 92% of special education students graduating this year. Additionally, eight senior students earned the Seal of Biliteracy, recognizing proficiency in multiple languages and global readiness.

Beyond academics, Potomac students continued to shine in athletics. The basketball team advanced to the regional championships this school year, while the 4x4 track team is set to compete in the state championship.

In service to their community, students collectively earned an extraordinary 10,560.3 service-learning hours, reflecting their deep commitment to leadership and giving back.
