Early Application Opens for Select Specialty Programs for Non-PGCPS Students & Current PGCPS 9th Graders

Non-PGCPS students and current 9th-grade PGCPS students interested in the Academy of Health Sciences, Aerospace Engineering and Aviation Technology, or Science and Technology programs must act early.

The application window for these three programs is open from August 1 - October 3, 2025. Students must complete both a program application and PSAT 8/9 test registration to be considered.

PSAT 8/9 Requirement

• Students applying to these programs are required to take the PSAT 8/9.
• After submitting an application, non-PGCPS students and 9th-grade PGCPS students must register and pay for the PSAT 8/9.
• The test will be administered in October 2025.
• Registration details are included within the application.

Note: Current PGCPS 8th-grade students do not need to apply. They will take the PSAT 8/9 at their school.
