International Parent Leadership Consortium Empowers Global Families

Author:
Communications

The International Parent Leadership Consortium empowers multilingual and immigrant parents with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to engage in their children’s education and lead within their school communities.

Through this program, parents learn how to navigate the school system, understand educational pathways, and advocate for student success.

This summer, PGCPS celebrated the newest graduates of the consortium — families who have strengthened connections between home and school and inspired others to get involved. Their dedication underscores the power of partnership in helping every child thrive.

How to Get Involved

Applications for the next cohort are slated to open in February 2026. Families will be notified when the application is available by their child’s English Language Development (ELD) teacher or the school’s Parent Engagement Assistant and/or Community School Coordinator. Stay tuned to connect, lead, and make an impact in your school community!
