PGCPS families can jump-start their child's education savings, with up to $500 from the State of Maryland! Through the Save4College State Contribution Program, Maryland 529 is helping make college, trade school and career training more accessible by putting real dollars toward students' futures. Since the program began, more than 75,000 families have received a $250 or $500 contribution to support their child's educational goals.

Submit all materials by 11:59 p.m. on May 31, 2026
Eligible families may receive a $250 or $500 contribution directly into their account.
Funds saved through the Maryland College Investment Plan can be used for a wide range of qualified education expenses. That includes:
Colleges and universities
Trade and technical schools
Registered apprenticeship programs
Postsecondary credential programs
