Getting your child the healthcare they need is now more convenient. Through a partnership with Children's National Hospital, Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) offers School-Based Health Centers that provide quality healthcare right where students learn.
Services include:
Wellness checkups and sick visits
Immunizations and sports physicals
Asthma care
Nutrition counseling
Behavioral health services, including counseling and depression screenings
School-Based Health Centers are available at seven PGCPS schools:
Fairmont Heights High School
Oxon Hill High School
Northwestern High School (Northwestern HS students only)
Walker Mill Middle School
Drew-Freeman Middle School
Hyattsville Middle School
Sonia Sotomayor Middle School
Any PGCPS student can receive services at these health centers with a completed parent or guardian consent form.
