In alignment with the goals and priorities of Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS), the School Performance Plan (SPP) allows for a transparent and collaborative school improvement process with a focus on student achievement.
The School Performance Plan was developed this school year as the continuation of the detailed work and planning completed in the previous school year. The SPP focuses schools on engaging in disciplined inquiry cycles through the use of Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA). Through the successful utilization of PDSA, schools are able to impact student achievement and teacher practice by taking a scientific approach to school improvement.

| Due to lack of exposure to MCAP style problems, students are not able to transfer prior knowledge and build connections to new content, resulting in a lack of performance on the Alg 1 MCAP with only 8.1% of students scoring developing learner or better on the 2024-2025 exam. | Due to gaps in consistent opportunities for student collaboration, input and recognition, students feel less supported within ERHS school climate and culture, as indicated in the MSDE School Report Card Student Data receiving a 2.7 out 7.0 points. | |

The students will be exposed to the MCAP Type 1 question weekly as it will be incorporated into the weekly lesson plan. |
The school's PBIS team will develop and implement a "Raider Reward Bucks" program designed to promote student engagement/recognition and active participation of staff in celebrating students' daily successes; this will also included recognition of staff participation in the "Raider Reward Bucks" program. | |
| Target | ||
