Prince George’s County Public Schools is advancing a comprehensive, phased renovation of the existing Crossland High School stadium and athletic facilities. The project will transform the stadium with a new synthetic turf field, a rebuilt regulation-size track and field area, and upgraded amenities including new bleachers, a press box, scoreboards, sports and egress lighting, fencing, and accessible pathways.
Additional improvements include a new ticket booth and storage building, upgraded baseball and softball batting tunnels, enhanced field drainage and stormwater management systems, and updated electrical infrastructure to support stadium operations, including lighting, scoreboards, and press box functions.
Upon completion, the renovated stadium will provide students, athletes, and the community with safer playing conditions, improved accessibility, enhanced spectator experiences, and modern athletic facilities designed to support a wide range of activities for years to come.

Construction is underway to deliver a new athletic field and facility improvements shaped by community input and technical expertise.
