Robert Frost K-8 School

Project Overview

The project involves the complete replacement of the existing Robert Frost Elementary School with a newly constructed, state-of-the-art K–8 facility. The new school building will span approximately 227,568 square feet across four stories and will be designed to accommodate students from kindergarten through eighth grade. This modern educational environment will feature dedicated spaces for elementary and middle school learning. In addition to academic spaces, the building will feature collaborative learning areas, outdoor learning environments, and enhanced security and accessibility features. The new facility aims to support 21st-century learning while meeting the capacity and programming needs of a growing student population.

Blueprint Phase II Design

The architects for Phase II created two design options for the eight schools in this phase. Like in Phase I, using prototypes helps speed up construction and lower costs, so students and staff can enjoy updated facilities sooner. Each school will still have space to reflect its unique identity. The presentation below from Perkins Eastman explains the design choices. Take a look at the newest Blueprint School designs!
