Walker Mill Middle School is a newly modernized facility designed to serve over 1,000 students in Prince George’s County. The school features state-of-the-art academic spaces, including classrooms, science labs, and collaborative learning environments, along with a dining commons, gymnasium, and specialty program areas. A signature learning stair and vibrant murals by local artist Ira “Wiink” Bell help create a dynamic, student-centered environment. The campus includes upgraded outdoor playfields and community spaces. Constructed under the Blueprint Schools Program, the school was developed in partnership with Prince George’s County Public Schools and delivered through a Public-Private Partnership (P3) led by Gilbane Building Company with project management support from Brailsford & Dunlavey. The facility is scheduled to be ready for occupancy in time for the 2023–24 school year.
