The Beloved Community Leadership Academy (BCLA)
A new leadership and entrepreneurship program for youth ages 13-18 hosted by The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (The King Center).
BCLA is 15-month virtual experience geared towards students with an interest in:
BCLA is seeking inspired students! Through the generous support of several corporate sponsors both merit and need-based scholarships are available. Laptops and hotspots are available as well.
Please nominate students from your district. Any accepted students nominated by a teacher, principal or education administrator will automatically receive a $500 scholarship (plus any other eligible scholarship awards).

Student Summer Internship Position with Century Engineering, Inc.
Coalition for Public Safety Training In Schools, Inc. in partnership with Century Engineering, Inc. is offering a student internship position this summer.
Students only from Crossland, Friendly, Oxon Hill, and Potomac High Schools may apply.
